Getting to Drogo

From the North: Follow the M5 South to Junction 31, just South of Exeter. Join the A30 Westbound towards Okehampton and follow the road for about 10.5 miles until you reach the Woodleigh Junction exit (signposted Cheriton Bishop). Turn left here and go through Cheriton Bishop. Just over a mile further on there is a turning to the left signposted Castle Drogo. Follow this lane (narrow in places) through Drewsteignton (bend to the right) for 2.5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Castle on the left (this is also the proposed start for the race). At the time of writing, the public car park is about half a mile up the driveway on the right, but there may be an overflow car-park in operation on the day, so please follow any signs or instructions.

From the South: Follow the A30 East towards Exeter. Turn right at the Whiddon Down roundabout onto the A382 Moretonhampstead road. Follow the road for about 2.5 mile until you reach a turning on the left signposted Castle Drogo. The entrance to the castle is just over a mile down this lane, on the right.
