It goes like this:-

• SWRRs come back from races clutching prizes, medals etc not awarded on the day
• They give them to your Chairman on Wednesday Night
• He announces them. If you are an award-winner, you get a round of applause
• If you're there, you collect your award
• If you're not, your Chairman (usually) brings it along the next Wednesday, and tries again
• If you're still not there, it goes in the Chairman's car / garage / attic and unless someone reminds him, there's a risk that it gets forgotten
• We can't keep them for ever. If they're not claimed after 6 months, they may get thrown away
• There must be a better way
