Welcome to the Drogo 10 website

Firstly, thank you to everyone who ran the race. Conditions were good, and despite the early start, 314 of you managed to complete the course. (almost 100 of you entered on the day!). There were a few stories along the way - the runner with the twisted ankle who insisted on finishing the course - he came last, but he's done the Drogo, and that's all that matters! Then there was the runner who was on course to win, but took a wrong turn. He arrived at the finish line and told us of the error, then set off to run the course again - completing his second lap in 1:05!!
Aplogies to three prize winners who in the haste of prize-giving were deprived of their moment of glory, Bev Tarry (1st Lady Vet 60), Pat Seabrook (1st Lady Vet 65+) and Mark Waddicor (1st Male Vet 65+). Your names will live on for months to come on this website!
Results have now been posted on the results section, but before you dash off to look at them, please note that next year's Drogo will be held two weeks later, on November the 16th. (We've done a date-swap with the nice Templer Ten people.) The start time hasn't been confirmed yet, but we're hoping it'll be back to a 10.30 start!
South West Road Runners' next race is the Last Chance 10K in Exeter on 30th December.
My next race for you all is the Killerton Kanter next Summer. I look forward to seeing you all there!
Pam Gurney
Race Director.
